All these comments about Carson, so weird.. In our country a former minister from the previous government made sure that immigrant couples should be seperated if one of the parties were above 18 years old (while the other was below 18 years old, which in literally all the cases meant the guy was the older one and the girl the one below 18). Turns out this was illegal so she (the former minister) will now most likely be subjected to impeachment. And here we are with people raging over Carson, a 19-year old that sexted mutually with a 17 year old, calling him a creep. So, dear world, what is the correct morale here? The world is turned upside down.

@General Jack Ripper Is there a good reason for being derogatory with someone you merely disagree with? I dont think so. To the subject at hand: those are actions. Acts driven by compassion yes. But this is not compassion itself, which is a feeling inside us. It literally means "to suffer together" (or perhaps more broadly "to feel together", but often the usage is when feeling with others that suffer.). In all those cases you mentioned both the people supporting and opposing such actions surely are capable of at least feeling compassion for the involved beings. Perhaps with a very few exceptions like certain full blown psychopaths who, as far as I understand (and I may be wrong, but that wouldn't detract from my point, on the contrary) can be entirely incapable of compassion. but I think they are then very rare exceptions.

@Amjad alhindi It might not be awkward and you probably wouldn't have to say good jokes or do stuff to get him to enjoy the conversation. You could just talk, ask how he is doing, or something. It'd be hard to actually talk to him much though considering there are many other people who try to do the same, and I think he mainly wants to be left alone (based on what I've seen him say before) aside from spending time with Marzia, some friends he already has, probably family he doesn't live with, his pets, and whenever he does stuff with other NOlocalrs.
