Biggest gripe with horror games is how dark they are. They need to find a happy balance of dark to be scary but not too dark that it’s just pitch black and you can’t see anything

Not just horror games, even; alot of people seem to think "night time" means "Can't see your hand in front of your face". People download mods to make Bethesda games darker. I just don't understand it.
